General health requirements:

The jumper needs to be in a good and healthy physical condition. Participants with the following health conditions are explicitly excluded from bungy jumping: Pregnant women, people with high blood pressure, heart disorders, epilepsy, damage to the musculoskeletal system, neurological disorders, glaucoma, ocular hypertension, chronic ear ailments with disturbance of equilibrium.

 

Furthermore the jumper must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or mind-altering medication.

 

Please refer to your doctor before you book a jump if you’re taking medication or are insecure about whether you are fit to do a bungy jump or not. You will be signing a liability release before your jump.

 

Weight limits:

Minimum 45 kg; Maximum 115 kg

 

Age / necessary documents:

There is no minimum age for Bungy jumping but the minimum weight is a requirement. Participants under the legal age of 18 years need the signed declaration of consent from a parent.

 

Bungy jumpers over 65 years of age please bring a medical statement that you are fit for the jump.

 

Canyoning

Minimum age: between 12 to 18 years depending on the canyon. Average fitness, good swimmer used to water, depending on the canyon: canyoning experience.

No participation in case of pregnancy.

Strict no go policies on alcohol, drugs or mind-altering medication.  

Documents: Participants under the legal age of 18 years need the signed declaration of consent from a parent. 

Availability: The Bungy jumps can be done during the normal opening hours of the bungy site.

Canyoning tours will need a minimum of 3 bookings on a tour, which in the main summer season and on weekends should not be a problem. 

 

Opening hours of the 007 Bungy Jump site:

from the Easter weekend (varies every year) until the last full weekend in October every Saturday and Sunday in the afternoons. 

During the summer school holidays, we’re on site all afternoons from Wednesday through to Sunday. Please check our Online Booking System for detailed schedules!  

 

Weather: Bungy jumps can be done in pretty much every weather. Canyoning tours however, depend strongly on weather and conditions (heavy rainfall, high water and such). Tours may have to be shifted for the security of all. 

 

Meeting point:

Bungy Jumping: directly on the Verzasca dam 

Canyoning: depending on the tour and according to the information on your confirmation

 

Clothing/bring along:

Bungy Jumping: Comfortable colourful clothing (for your pictures)

 

Canyoning: Bathing suit, towel, sun protection, insulating lycra shirt/suit for the colder season) 

 

Reservation: mandatory

No, unfortunately one's own action camera (GoPro and similar) cannot be used for the jump.

Choose the region "Lago Maggiore and valley" and pick your accomodation or camping in the region of Ascona and Locarno (20-25 mins to the Verzasca dam). Both places are close or directly at the lake where you'll find lots of restaurants, bars, beaches & parks.
